MuVo TX FM - Bugs Report [SE Firmware]
RBuzz: Hi! I'm from Poland and at first want to thank you for your wonderful job. It works great! But there are three little bugs that I wanted to stress: 1. Startup logo after "Creative" is "MuVo TX SE" instead of "MuVo TX FM". 2. The information about number of tracks stored in player is unavailable (Track count) 3. The "," and " ' " sign in tags is incorrectly displayed - I know that there is a problem with specific language signs, but this signs that I've mentioned aren't specific for the language. My player is MuVo TX FM 512MB - all this was tested on your firmware - Polish language. Thanks once again for wonderful job.

Admin: Thanks a lot for your feedback. It's great to have such response. 1. Double check then: Logo is correct now. Muvo TX FM SE 2. You're right, same information above and below the line; corrected. 3. It is a problem - a big one. Thing is, that not only CE special characters aren't implemented in original Firmware. So THERE IS NO ID3 SUPPORT for CE LANGUAGES at the moment, I hope. Case is, we do not have proper software, which has been used by Creative's programmers. Regarding this particular bug - "," and " " " - both have been corrected. Regarding " ' " - I am not sur,e that they are so common in file names or even ID3 tags. File is available now, so feel free to to install it again then. If you're running 1.19 already, you don't need to enter Recovery Mode. I really appreciate your feedback and help. If you could get more people form PL involved in this project, that would be great. That would be really great.
RBuzz: I didn't expect such a fast response - thank you very much. New firmware works fine, and no need to enter in recovery mode is a pleasant surprise. As far as new people in the project are concerned, i will try to give you strong promotion on the polish internet sites, but I dont know a thing about programing and what's more, I dont know anyone who knows . So in the matter of developers form my side, you are left alone - but not in the matter of testers (I hope). Greetings.

I am just a kind of stranger might be not only in the night Anyway, the case is: to understand the firmware so as it was by understanding the matrix; even if we don't know, what is exactly the matrix, or - in our particular case - we do not have a piece of software or do not have a proper knowledge... but we still have a source and we're able to see results of the slightly changes, we're providing to the end-users. Everything is just about to make it more open... It is not about how to destroy it, it's only about how to make more user friendly and more understandable. And something else... I still have a SDK for SigmaTel 35xx based players; so, we just need more brains.

RBuzz: It's funny that we're neighbours, but our communication is in very foreign language... I've been learning Russian some years ago, but not long enough to use it in discussion. But getting back to topic, I will go through this SDK and see if I can understand a thing... The trouble is that it seems in Poland we dont have people to deal with low-level programing as a hobby - I can say that on the basis of my experience from mobile phone forums and other web activity. It also seems that You don't have this problem in Russia - i will always remember wonderful job your homies done with Samsung SGH-C100 mobile on http://www.c100-club.ru/
